Oscar "Reflect" Sanchez

Born in 1982 in Jersey City, to Dominican parents, I was always attached to music.

From the mid 80's to the early 90' my father was part of a Merengue band, at around the age of five he would teach me the bands dance numbers and let me participate at their performances. At that point I realized how much I really loved music. In 1991 my parents separated as a consequence my mother, sister and I had no choice but to move to the Bronx, where the rest of our family resided. During that time Hip Hop had really blossomed. Because of my Hispanic background I had, I was never really into Hip Hop until my sister introduce me to it. Since then I would recite and memorize my favorite songs, in the summer of 2001 I finally motivated myself to exploit my creativity and pursue a career in  Music industry. I started writing lyrics and producing my own tracks. While still in College I continued to educate myself in every aspect of the industry. I call myself  REFLECT  because my music is a reflection of who I am, the world we live in and where I want to go. My lyrics are my  expressions, views, experiences and goals. My mission is to develop my company, and surround my self with people as motivated and determine as I am. At the same time continue to make good music and give artist and producers direction while respecting their artistic freedom. I want to learn and grow in this industry; given the opportunity I will show my determination and tenacity.
